Incidence estimates 2022

The incidence estimates in 2022 for the EU-27 countries are based on the data from the cancer registries participating in the data call of the IARC’s Cancer Incidence in Five Continents Volume XII.

Mortality estimates 2022

The mortality data was extracted from WHO mortality database, unless otherwise specified.

Incidence and mortality historical data

The list of European population-based cancer registries participating in the ENCR-JRC call for data and description of historical incidence and mortality data up to the last available year.

Childhood incidence historical data

The list of European population-based cancer registries contributing to the European Cancer Information System (ECIS), number of new cases, and incidence period.

Survival estimates

The list of European population-based cancer registries participating in the EUROCARE-5 study for patients diagnosed in 2000–2007 and followed up to 2008.
